Eighteen-year-old rodeo roper Ace Patton Ashford tragically passed away on August 12 in a freak accident while assisting with a sick cow. Ace, who had devoted his young life to rodeo and was well-known for his talent and dedication, suffered fatal injuries when he was dragged across an open field by his horse.
